Client management built around the property
A client is who pays. A property is where the work happens. Tax lives on the property, the gate code lives on the property, and every quote, job and invoice points at both.
Add a client while they are still on the phone
Name, phone, address, saved. One form, not three screens. Neither phone nor email is required, because a cash customer with no email address is a real customer.
If the number already belongs to someone on your list, Foldrule says so and links to them. It never stops you from saving.
- A person or a company, your choice
- Address autocomplete for your country
- A duplicate hint on phone and email
- Open it from a quote and land back there
Contacts and properties, as many as the work needs
The homeowner and the tenant. The office manager and the site lead. Each contact carries their own phones and emails, and one of them is primary so documents know where to go.
Each property carries the address, a label, access notes for the crew, and its own tax rates.
- One client, several service addresses
- Access notes only the crew sees
- A gate code that never reaches a document
- A billing address separate from the work address
Tax lives on the property
You enter your rates once. Each property carries the set that applies there, and a document for that address picks them up. There is no lookup guessing on your behalf.
A tax exempt client carries the certificate number and the file, and their documents print untaxed with the reason on them.
- Your own rates, entered by you
- A set per property, not one per business
- Exemption with the certificate on file
- Sent documents never recalculate
The portal your customer signs into
One page per client with their upcoming appointments, the quotes waiting on them, the invoices with a balance, and the photos you chose to share. They get in with a one time code sent to the phone or email you already have.
It reads in English or Spanish, and the customer can switch it themselves.
- Appointments with the arrival window
- Add to calendar on every appointment
- Pay an invoice from the same page
- A history they can open any time

Questions about clients and properties
How the records are shaped, and who gets to see what.
Can one client have several addresses?
Yes. A client has as many properties as you need, each with its own tax rates, label and access notes. A quote or a job always points at one of them.
Do I have to enter an email?
No. Phone and email are both optional. You need whichever one you plan to send documents on, and Foldrule tells you at send time if it is missing.
What does my crew see about a client?
The name, the phone, the address and the access notes for the visit they are on. Internal notes, invoices and payment history never reach the field app.
How does the customer get into the portal?
From the link on their quote or invoice, or by asking for a one time code at the phone or email you have on file. There is no password to forget.
Is the portal in Spanish?
Yes. Documents and the portal are in English or Spanish, set per client, and the customer can switch the language themselves on any page.
Can I delete a client?
You can delete one that has no sent quote, job, invoice or payment. Anyone else is archived, which hides them from your lists and keeps the history and the old links working.
